Remembrance Day

I had been considering what to post to commemorate those who have given their lives and limbs in the service of the country.

All that I can do is to encourage everyone to read http://mindrenewers.com/2013/11/10/it-is-the-soldier/#more-6096 and to give thanks to God for those men and women who serve our countries under all sorts of political masters.

About UK Fred

A Christian who cares that the church in Britain conforms to societal demands, rather than transforms society. I am particularly concerned with the lack of support for marriage and the acceptance of divorce in the church. I also care that the body politic in Britain seems to be corrupt and in need of a good shake-up.

Hello, Fred, thank you for the link. As long as there is evil in the world, there will be people who want to dominate others, for power, wealth, or pleasure, and if that evil is to be restrained, there will have to be soldiers. And we should always be grateful.
